Good Morning Ladies

It is so good to be able to join you all once again, although it will not be one-hundred-percent.
In case I haven't gotten around to visiting and thanking you, please accept this heartfelt thanks for your beautiful words of encougagement, well wishes and sentiments.

James and I will be forever grateful for your generosity. Just to clarify for some who asked what really happened to me...

I took cold meds that I had a reaction to, and the fall was from my passing out. My blood pressure and blood sugar went up extremely high.

My poodle, Ashley...my love, is/was, who saved me from lying on that floor, by getting James' attention outside. Our connection is so strong and he's always looking after me.
The hairs on the nape of my neck stand on end when I relate this! He has not left my side...I had to carry him to the doctor's office with me, but James sat with him in the car when I went in...he whined the entire time I was away!

I am so thankful to the Lord for not having serious complications from this ordeal, my memory has been a little slow, and I have somewhat limited use of my arm and problems with my back from the fall, but PT will give me some relieve and of course, your prayers have helped! Thanks again!

Please don't forget to enter the giveaway on our blog #1...we thought we would include some sweets for the sweet friends who visit. lol.
So, hurry and enter to win. Hope you are having an outstanding day

Warmest Wishes,

  1. Oh my goodness girl. The hair on my neck is standing up thinking of what you have gone thru. I hope you continue to get better. Thankful for your baby getting your husbands attention.

  2. Loretta, I'm happy to hear you're doing okay and I'm sure as time goes you'll continue to get stronger. It's amazing what our pets can discern...I'm happy your poodle was there for you - an angel in disguise.

  3. Thank you for telling us what happened. And yes, your doggie is/was wonderful!!!

I just hope you are not trying to do too much, like with blogging...... Too much too soon, as it were. Shouldn't you rest, rest, rest a bit longer?

    OK, I will stop sounding like a busy-body-old-aunt. :-))))))))

    Gentle hugs,

    "Heap on more wood!~~The wind is chill;
But let it whistle as it will,
We'll keep our Christmas merry still."

    ~~Sir Walter Scott

  4. SO glad to see you back! Have been praying for you and will continue to pray!

Cold meds can really do some weird things sometimes...

  5. Oh my Loretta, I'm so sorry about your accident. I'm glad you're on the mend now. I swear our dogs are little guardian angels. Thanks for taking the time to visit and leave such a nice comment. Please be well soon.

  6. Wow, so glad there wasn't a different outcome. Aren't pets just the greatest?!!! Be sure to give her a hug for me. I had a similar thing happen last year when they put me on heart meds that interferred with my cancer meds. I fainted and fell down a small flight of steps, onto tiled floor. All I could do was laugh when I came to. It had just been one thing after another. This happened the day before my 42 birthday. I slept for 3 days straight and boy did I look a sight. Again it was my then 2 dogs that kept me going after a tumultuous year. I have one little dog still here with me. He will be 19 years old in April. I know he is hanging on (doing quite well I might add) because he knows how much I need him.

  7. Vanessa you bring tears to my eyes, but at the same time you are an inspiration...how I do love you!
    Take care!
