Tuesday's Supper

Hello...

This has to be a rare occasion for me since I always post our Dinner/Supper on Sunday but, who cares, right? Since James' surgery, cooking has taken on an entirely new plan for us...it isn't hard, but a matter of sticking to what needs to be done. Gone are our decadent Southern meals and desserts.
  However, not to be outdone, I have a few tricks up my sleeve with my desserts! Look, I admit it...I am a junky when it comes to sweets, but ice cream...ooohhhh, is my weakness. It is so good that I learned how to eat the fat, sugar free brands with Blue Bell being my fave.

  I must say, James is being good about his diet now, and has settled down and accepting it well. The no salt, is his biggest complaint, but using different herbs helps to give it a little boost. Here is one meal that I prepared today. This is lunch, he pasted on dinner and will have healthy snack tonight...

You know how I love taking more thank one Pic. This is Albacore tuna, plain with veggies, baked potato, fruit and wheat crackers.
  His snack tonight will be sugar-free pudding...chocolate, lite-cool whip, with whole strawberry. It is really not bad at all, just a matter of eating portions and healthy.
  I'm so happy the carbs are higher in this diet than before, because he was always hungry. This one is much better. If you have a healthy menu you would like to share, please e-mail to me. My address is in my profile.

Now, for some of the wacky and wild ones. Actually, I even have a fancy for some of these...love the pink and purple ones...

 

Yep, I would definitely say, she's the winner of the wacky and is quite aware of it by the huge open mouth laugh!
